Amazingly powerful aircon. Great dishwasher. Comfy, clean beds. Cutie deer you can feed. Lovely styling of the place, such a nice feel. Adored the sweet succulent gardens. Suuuch helpful and agreeable owners. Thanks so much for the great stay and help with the car and dogs etc. We shall be back :)

Everything was better than we expected. Beautiful, quiet and private spot to relax. Awesome wood fired hot tub. Cute views of the sheeps and deers around. Definitely recommend this place, specially for a couple.

What a gem of a place. Great for families Our two year old love watching and feeding the sheep and deer and splashing in the hot tub. Beach and playground are short walk. Lovely for adults when kids are asleep too - great to lie in bed and see sunrise over Tarawera. Angie’s grazing platter was out of this world and highly recommended particularly if you’re arriving later in the day!

Angela and Dave are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome during our stay. The Woolshed is a real gem, tucked away a short walk from Lake Tarawera. Very clean, beautifully done up and with a superb wood-fired hot tub, we will definitely stay here again. We were given great recommendations on things to do with our two boys.

The Woolshed was stunning, set up a private driveway we rarely saw people, only the resident sheep! The Cedar Hot Tub was incredible and the perfect spot to star gaze. The house itself had everything we needed and was located just across the road from the perfect lake swimming spot. Will definitely be back one day!

A very relaxing and well appointed ‘property’ to stay for a few days. Nothing is lacking. From the moment we drove up the driveway past the grazing sheep, and went inside, we knew that this would be a great place to stay. Add in the fact that the great swimming of Lake Tarawera is essentially across the road, this is a great place to rest and access what the Rotorua area has to offer.

What an amazing and tranquil place adjacent to the lake and boat ramp. The quality of the decor and furniture is really good, all the necessary equipment required for a comfortable stay was provided. Plenty of space for the boat. The owners are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to return.
