Totally Tarawera
Take a trip with Totally Tarawera and jump on the water taxi to the hot water beach, go see Tarawera falls or hike the Tarawera trail. Take a look at the options on:
The Redwoods
Why not hire a bike and go on the Forest Loop great ride. 33 Kilometre long. The best place to start the trail is Waipa bike hub. Alternatively, take one of the hikes in the Redwood forest.

Take a walk along the lake front and enjoy a picnic. Catch a rainbow trout. Swim in the lake (22 degrees during the summer months). Hike around the Blue Lake (about 1.5 hours).
