Thank you so much for having us! What a beautiful house and the view Wow, what an amazing spot on the lake.. especially nice when lounging in the spa pool. The walkway down to the lake was fun and the view from the bottom of the track was just as beautiful as it was from the house. We loved our stay, only downfall is we wish we’d stayed longer. Thank you again, we hope to be back one day soon.

Great stay thank you. We loved the location, the views are amazing. Extremely clean, beautiful spacious house. We had to shuffle around the bed set up a little as we have two young children and one of the rooms is not connected to the house which I hadn’t realised. This would be great for shared groups or for older children/teenagers. I did find one of the beds very very firm and switched rooms after the first night but that would be the only thing that I could fault.

“A truly wonderful place to stay – especially on a gloriously sunny Anniversary Weekend.  Once we were there we really didn’t want to leave – so my biggest piece of advice would be to stock up so you don’t have to go into town for anything (we pre-ordered and did a pickup from Countdown Fenton St but I did see a delivery truck so potentially they could even deliver). 

Our days started at 5.30am when we got up to watch the breathtaking sunrise, followed by a workout or yoga on the front deck, wander down the hill for a swim at Stony Point, an adventure during the day – Lake Tarawera Falls Walk (courtesy of Totally Tarawera), a walk around the edge of the lake, hiring a jetski (courtesy of AceHydro), or the Steaming Cliffs Kayak Tour (courtesy of Paddleboarding Rotorua).  An afternoon nap in the sun, another swim followed by a soak in the spa, cooked dinner on the mega-BBQ or in the designer kitchen, soaked in the spa, watched a movie on the huge TV – and early to bed!  Truly wonderful. I suspect this is one of the best spots on Lake Tarawera……”

“We had an excellent stay. The property is stunning and we had wonderful weather. The steps from the bottom of the garden down the cliff to the lake make it very accessible and safe swimming. Finished off by warming up in the hot tub! The open kitchen / living space is wonderful for spending time with family and friends. Enjoy.”

Wow, amazing views, absolute lakefront. The house gets sun front and back due to glass everywhere. Plenty of space in the living/dining area. Entertainment system was easy to use, great large screen TV and internet movie viewing options; a good quality coffee machine, gas fire, incredible large hot tub: easy to use, nice and hot, more jets than Rotorua has geysers! Beds were excellent, and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out. Note that the couch beds in the middle room are suitable only for kids but too short for most adults.

Location and layout of the house is great, expecially for a large group and varying weather conditions. A good kitchen for cooking and entertaining. Enjoyed our stay but felt the price was quite high in comparison to other places we have stayed and booked through Airbnb. Wasn't too happy with paying the additional cleaning fee either.
